Klamath County Cooperative Weed Management Area

Who We Are

The Klamath County Cooperative Weed Management Area (CWMA) was established to bring agencies, organizations, non-profits and the community together to collaboratively address cross-boundary invasive species issues in the basin. Our goal is to lessen the impact of invasive plant species and their threat to the economy, environment, and human health by working cooperatively to provide leadership, facilitate information development and exchange, and coordinate regional efforts.

Why Collaboration is Our Goal

Collaboration across jurisdictions throughout Klamath is critical in invasive management to cover an entire area effectively by avoiding gaps in treatment areas or overlaps in resources. By working together, we are also able to pool resources and improve funding options.
